这是在万花筒里看到的各种各样的图片。
万花筒是一种光学玩具，只要往筒眼里一看，就会出现一朵美丽的“花”样。将它稍微转一下，又会出现另一种花的图案。不断地转，图案也在不断变化，所以叫“万花筒”。
万花筒的图案是如何来的呢？原来是靠玻离镜子反射而成的。它是由三面玻璃镜子组成一个三棱镜，再在一头放上一些各色玻璃碎片，这些碎片经过三面玻璃镜子的反射，就会出现对称的图案，看上去就像一朵朵盛开的花。
万花筒的原理在于光的反射，而镜子就是利用光的反射来成像的，这种成像原理我国远古时代的古人就已掌握。古书《庄子》里就有“止于水”的说法，即用静止的水当镜子。据说真正的万花筒玩具是英国物理学家大卫布尔斯答于1816年发明的，而我国民间也很早就有了这种玩具，而且有创新，生产出了许多新型的万花筒。
