由Dan Verssen Games开发的《Down in Flames: Eastern Front》是《Down in Flames》的资料片，这是一款空战桌面型战略游戏，同时具有一些角色扮演元素。
　相对于初作，《Down in Flames: Eastern Front》加入了新型的战机、飞行员、飞行技巧、战役以及AI的改进。《Down in Flames: Eastern Front》并非一款飞行模拟游戏，而是将飞行战斗策略游戏与快节奏的RPG游戏结合起来的新型游戏。
　在《Down in Flames: Eastern Front》中，玩家首次可以控制波兰和苏联的飞行员，驾驶苏联的LA-7、IL-2M以及波兰的P.11C、P.37等二战著名战机。除此之外，新增的德军ME-262喷气式战斗机和英军的Tempest V都会让你兴奋不已。
　《Down in Flames: Eastern Front》的战场遍布全球，从苏联到北美、到北非、到日本、到太平洋、到欧洲，几乎整个二战战场都被包括其中。
